We, the undersigned, request that the National Institutes
of Health (NIH) begin human clinical trials on the enormous health benefits of a
balance of ovarian hormones in preventing breast cancer. Two pivotal trials on
primates published in 2001 and 2003 already demonstrate that a balance of
ovarian hormones can prevent breast cancer. It is time for the NIH to recognize
the importance of ovarian function to a woman’s overall well-being and work
toward preventing diseases brought on by ovarian failure (menopause).
